Bachelor's Degree in Education
Mrs. Linda Aranas
Greetings, Parents! My name is Linda Aranas and I am the SAILS (Succeeding in Academic and Independent Life Skills) teacher at Leonetti Elementary.
This will be my 14th year in education; I began my career in Alief ISD and in 2017 I joined the wonderful district of Fort Bend! Outside of special education, I have experience teaching 2nd, 3rd, Pre-K, and Kindergarten. Out of all the grades I've taught, it's the special needs population that has a special place in my heart. I see growth happening every single day!
I was born and raised in Houston, and I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 14 years, and I have two children. My 12 year old son CJ attends Thornton Middle School as a 7th grader, and my 9 year old daughter Sophie is a 4th grader right here at Leonetti!
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, having play-dates with other friends and their kids, watching movies, and reading. I am also a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and own a small business creating balloon decor for special events!
I am so excited to be part of the staff at Leonetti Elementary, The Greatest Place to Be!
