I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas with a B.A. in Literature. 17-18 marks my 7th year teaching, and my 1st year as a Clements Ranger. In my previous years, I have taught grades 9-10 English Language Arts and Reading in Dallas, and I taught grade 4 Bilingual Language Arts in Alief. I love teaching students of various backgrounds and cultures, and I encourage my students to celebrate and share their unique perspectives and experiences.
Fun fact: Both my husband and I are graduates of Dulles High School right here in Fort Bend, so now that I am a Ranger, we are a “house divided”. In my free time, I enjoy yoga, watching my Dallas Cowboys win, traveling, and spending time with my husband and two young children, Nathan and Claire.
