Welcome to the Fifth Grade ! My name is Ms. Bell, and I am the monolingual 5th grade English Language Arts/Reading/Writing/Social Studies teacher here at Mission West Elementary School. 

 I was born on May 8th in Houston, Texas. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Prairie View A&M University. I am currently a graduate student at Lamar University. This December, I will be graduating with a Masters of Education Degree in Digital Learning and Leading. Although I have no children of my own, I consider my fur baby, Chase as my son. He is a 9-month old Shih Tzu puppy. My hobbies include reading, writing, spending time with family & friends, listening to a variety of music, and travelling. On my spare time, I am involved in a non-profit organization that promotes post-secondary education. EDUCATION IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME ! I love to teach, and I enjoy seeing individuals excel and succeed academically beyond their imagination.
