Mrs. Tracy Darnell
Welcome to Cornerstone Elementary!
My name is Tracy Darnell. I was born in Louisiana and grew up in Pensacola, Florida. My husband’s name is Terry and we met in 7th grade. We have now been married for twenty seven years and have three children: Terry Jr. (twenty-five), Ty (twenty-two) and Trinity (twenty). We have lived in the Sugar Land area for the past nineteen years.
In 2012, I graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I taught first grade at Cornerstone for three years from 2012-2015. After taking some time off, I returned to the best elementary campus in Fort Bend ISD as a resource teacher.
When I’m not teaching, I’m involved in my church and I love spending time with my family. I also enjoy reading, sewing and traveling.
I’m looking forward to an amazing year as a part of your child’s educational team. We have a wonderful support staff that will also be working with your child: Ms. Gilbert, Ms. Mawani and Ms.Shakir.
