My name is Rozmin Jindani and I’m excited to be at Barrington Place Elementary as a special education resource and co-teacher. I grew up in the Dallas area and moved to Houston in 2013. I am also a mother of two rambunctious boys, ages 3 and 5. I love to spend my free time with our family around town.
I will be supporting special education students in the classroom setting. I believe all learners can grow in an inclusive classroom. This is my eleventh year as an educator. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in education. I received my Master of Education degree from Vanderbilt University. I have taught as a math teacher in elementary and middle schools. I was a secondary special education teacher for grades 6-12 at a YES Prep charter school. I’m excited to be back at the elementary level to support the students in preparing them for middle school, high school and beyond. My aim will not only be to work with students academically, but to also prepare them socially and emotionally.
