Welcome BBE Bullfrogs!

My name is Mrs. Cordero and I am so excited to be the art teacher this year at Brazos Bend Elementary! This is my 4th year teaching in Fort Bend ISD, however I am entering my 14th year of teaching art. My art teaching experience has been in K - 8th grade art and I have taught in Connecticut, Florida and now Texas.

I was born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut as one of four quadruplets. I am the oldest of my siblings by one minute! I moved to Florida for four years and now living here in Texas for five years with my husband.

I attended the University of Connecticut, where I completed all of my art studio courses and completed my studies at Southern Connecticut State Univeristy, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design and Studio Art. I continued on to complete a Master's of Science degree in Art Education at Florida International University, in Miami, Florida.

I am so excited to work with all my new students here at BBE. I am looking forward to bringing out the best creativity and instill a love for art from each and every one of you. As Picasso quotes, "Every child is an artist". Believe that with all your heart and you can create all that you imagine!
