Mr. Atticus Caleb

Salutations! My 16th year of teaching finds me at Ridge Point High School, “home of scholars and champions.” I enjoy traveling with my wife Venise, though I’m not sure if she feels the same… sometimes I tend to overpack. Reading, being outdoors, soccer, and of course helping our young scholars prepare for the future are also some of my favorite things to do. I have a son and daughter, both of whom are in college. I am a product of Fort Bend ISD, and graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown with a degree in interdisciplinary studies. Currently, I am pursuing a masters in counseling at the University of Houston-Victoria.

Over the last sixteen years, I have taught Pre-AP Language Arts, video production, and English. I am AVID trained and trained has a CHAMPS presenter. Building meaningful relationships with my students and their families allows me to better serve and assist them in achieving their future goals. I will incorporate real world experiences into my classroom that will build the knowledge base our students need to be successful in their lives. The world is our classroom and our experiences will add to who we are. I look forward to a successful and exciting year.
