Welcome to Mrs. Shamburger's 6th and 7th Grade Math Site!

I grew up in Plano, Texas and moved to Houston with my husband.  I am a graduate from Baylor University of Waco, Texas where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Middle Grades Mathematics. In Texas, I hold a Generalist Degree (K-6) and a Middle-Level Mathematics Degree. 

I hope by the end of the year I have not only taught your students 6th/7th grade math, but also how to work hard and reach for their goals.  My class will consist of discusion, problem-solving, hands-on activities, and hard work. I hope my students see how math pertains to their life and the world every day. 

This is my second year as a part of the Sugar Land family and I am excited to spend many more years working with the students! Go Titans!
