    Welcome to an exciting 2022-2023 school year! My name is Ekira Jones and I will be the Math teacher in the Special Education department this year. This is my 3rd year at SMS and my 9th year in education. I am a three time alumni of Lamar University (M.Ed in Special Education with a concentration in Autism, M.Ed in Teacher Leadership with a concentration in Gifted and Talented Education). I am from Angleton, Texas. My hobbies include reading, shopping, and spending time with my family.
