Hi, Panthers!  My name is Karen Freeze, and I teach 2nd grade math and science. I am a native Houstonian and celebrating my 43rd year as a teacher.  I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades in both Ohio and Texas.  I have 2 adult children. My daughter is a fashion designer in New York City, and my son is an administrator at a private school in Austin. I am thrilled to be teaching at James Patterson and look forward to the 2022-2023 school year!
