Welcome to 5th grade!  

I have been teaching 19 years and I love being a Neill Longhorn!  I have been an Instructional Coach and taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. My passion is ELA and growing readers!  I believe learning should be fun and every day should include a healthy dose of laughter. 

In 2019-2020 I was the Neill Elementary Teacher of the Year and a FBISD District Elementary Teacher of the Year finalist. 

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University where I met my husband.  We have two daughters who are in 7th and 11th grades at Bowie Middle School and Travis High School. Go Bowie Bears and Travis Tigers!

 My hobbies include reading books and magazines, cheering for the Astros, and traveling with my family to Disney World.
