Hello!  My name is Mary Flugence, and I am very excited to say that this is 19th year teaching elementary school. I grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education degree from UL-Lafayette in 1999 and earned my Master of Education in Administration degree in 2009 from Concordia - Austin. Most of my teaching experience has been in the Fort Bend ISD School District.

I am thrilled about being your second grade teacher this year.   

Currently, I live in Sugar Land, Texas. I have one grown son, Russell (Rusty) and one granddaughter, Morgan.

I enjoy reading, playing video games, reading, going to movies, working out, and spending time with my family and friends in Georgia, Texas and Louisiana. I look forward to meeting all of my students!
