My name is Elizabeth Cordova Cary; I grew up in the beautiful city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. I attended the University of Guadalajara and became a Psychologist. After 10 years of professional practice, I moved to this country. In 1994, I came to Houston and attended the University of St. Thomas where I earned a Certification in Bilingual Education and ESL. This is my twenty-sixth year working as a bilingual teacher at Mission West Elementary, which makes me feel honored and proud. Helping kids and families, that struggle with a second language acquisition is always my first goal.
Recently I moved with my husband out to a rural community. I enjoy the outdoors very much, working out in the garden, riding bicycle or just drinking tea out in the back porch. Our children our grown and out of the house, so our dog Lily is the one that keeps us busy every day.
