Greetings Ridgegate Rangers, parents, and guardians!
My name is Ms. Dikita Nobles. I am the Literacy Intervention Specialist at Ridgegate Elementary.
I am passionate about equipping third through fifth grade students with the necessary tools to enhance their reading and writing skills as they become life long learners. I also love supporting reading teachers by providing them with proven strategies and techniques to enhance their student's learning experience.
I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and I am currently continuing my education through Concordia University in the Master's in Educational Leadership program. I have experience as an Elementary Reading Teacher and a Literacy Specialist. My professional and academic experiences have allowed me to obtain a wealth of knowledge to serve our readers, and I truly believe that all students are capable of learning after being empowered and equipped with the necessary tools.
Outside of school, I enjoy creative writing, reading all types of literature, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.
Ridgegate Elementary is an amazing school, and I am so excited to be a Ranger as I learn and grow alongside the staff and students.
"Any book that helps a child to form a habit of reading, to make reading one of his deep and continuing needs, is good for him." - Maya Angelou
