Stephen Cole was born in Houston,Tx in 1969. He graduated Summa cun Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Art Education, from Texas Southern University in 1996. He has been an art teacher and practicing artist ever since. This is currently his 24th teaching year. Prior to Fortbend ISD, he also spent 12 years teaching in the Galveston ISD where he was recognized as the district Secondary Teacher of the Year in the 2005-2006 school year. Mr. Cole has also been a Teacher of the Year at Sugar Land Middle school in the 2009-2010 school year. In the artistic field, his primary interests are abstract expressionism, graphic design, and watercolor painting. His enthusiasm for teaching art to anyone is to inspire artistic creativity  from within and to release an emotion from which all people can express the world in which they live in a representative and harmonious way.
