I graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Child Psychology. I am Texas certified in EC-6 and ESL.  I have over 20+ years of classroom experience. And I am excited to join the Madden Huskies Staff this year!

My educational philosophy is to collaborate with and support my colleagues, to have high student expectations, use innovative and challenging strategies, and to create an environment of academic awesomeness and to develop best behaviors and a cooperative class and school community - exhibiting respect, kindness, consideration of others, teamwork and good choices.  I believe parents are an important part of student  and school success, so I pray that you will support and encourage your child's participation and efforts in class, assist with "homepractice" and be involved in class and school activities and events whenever requested and you are available.

I look forward to working with and getting to know the Madden School Community during this school year.  I anticipate every student learning, developing & conquering new ideas, new skills, new challenges, and especially developing positive relationships while having FUN!
