B.S. in Early Childhood Education Minor in Child Psychology Texas certified for EC-6 and ESL

Mrs. Janet Potts

I graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Child Psychology. I am Texas certified in EC-6 and ESL.  I have over 18+ years of classroom experience.  This is my 4th year at PGE and I am truely enjoying teaching Pre-K!

My educational philosophy is to have high expectations, use innovative and challenging strategies, and to create an environment of academic awesomeness, best behaviors and a cooperative class community - exhibiting respect, kindness, consideration of others, teamwork and good choices.  I believe parents are an important part of student success, so I pray that you will support and encnourage your child's participation and efforts in class, assist with homepractice and be involved in class/school activities and events whenever requested and you are available.

I look forward to working with and getting to know your student during this year.  I anticipate every student learning, developing & conquering  new ideas, new skills, new challenges, and especially making new friends and having FUN!
