I began my teaching career at Dulles High School in 2003. Over the years, I have taught World Geography, Government, Economics, Psychology and Sociology. I also proudly coach the Texas State Champion DHS Academic Decathlon team.
I earned both my master's and bachelor's degrees from Texas Tech University. I completed my post-baccalaureate certification in secondary social studies through LeTourneau University.
I currently represent high school Social Studies in a two-year term with the FBISD Academic Advisory Council. In the past, I served as a member of the FBISD CTE Teacher Leadership team and the AP Psychology and AP Economics textbook adoption committees. I also worked as a curriculum and model lesson writer for the Social Studies and CTE departments. I am an active member of NCSS Psychology Teachers and the ACT Texas State Organization.
