The Extended Day Program, which includes before and after school care for students, serves grades K-5. FBISD exists to inspire and equip all students to pursue futures beyond what they can imagine. Extended Day provides a supportive climate and safe environment for children to flourish while fulfilling the District's mission.

Fall Updates
Extended Learning will be open at all campuses for early dismissal on September 15.
Extended Learning will be available for registered students in Extended Day and Little Learners at select campuses on September 29 as well as October 10. Students must be signed up in advance at their home campus. Students that are not enrolled in an Extended Learning program may sign up in EzChildTrack from September 5 - 18 and are subject to availability at the campus.

Registration for 2023-2024 Extended Learning before and after-school programs is now open.

2023-2024 School Year Registration
There are many campuses that are currently on a waitlist and are not accepting students at this time. Applications can continue to be submitted however they will not be processed until a spot becomes available at the campus. Students cannot attend until they have been accepted into the program.
Extended Learning will provide before and aftercare to students in Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade before and after school at the following campuses during the 2023-2024 school year:
- All elementary schools will offer morning and afternoon programs
- Bowie, First Colony and Sartartia Middle Schools will have morning and afternoon programs
- Fort Settlement and Garcia Middle Schools will offer morning only programs
- All District PreK campuses offer before and afternoon programs for registered PreK students

Program Payments
Payments for Extended Learning afterschool programs are made through EZChildTrack. Unpaid fees can be seen under the Payments & Statements section upon login. Autopay is available.
