Kimberly has more than 25 years of experience in marketing, public relations, and communications. As Chief Communications Officer for Fort Bend Independent School District, she is principally responsible for the strategic communications, marketing, and public relations of the sixth largest school district in Texas. Fort Bend ISD, is a public school district of over 80,000 students in 81 campuses. Before working for Fort Bend ISD, she spent 7 years as Director of Communications and Public Relations in Alief ISD. Under her leadership, Kimberly rebranded the urban school district, in turn shaping its image as a premier public school district. Prior to working in Alief ISD, she served for 14 years as Director of Marketing and Publicity for the Texas Gulf Coast Small Business Development Center Network, the largest economic development program of the University of Houston System. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Texas A&M University.
