    2019-2020 School Year Information 

    For the 2019-20 school year, Club Excel will be available at several campuses throughout the district.  Garcia MS is being added for the 2019-20 school year with a morning only program.

      • Morning program (7:00 a.m. until doors open for all students)
    • First Colony & Bowie & Sartartia 
      • Morning program (7:00 a.m. until doors open for all students) 
      • Afternoon program (4:10 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.)

    Club Excel Experience

    Club Excel has many components to keep your child engaged afterschool.  
    Homework Completion & Reading

    Students are provided a quiet environment and dedicated time to complete homework.  Books are available for students to read once homework is completed.  The amount of time dedicated to homework and/or reading is approximately 40-60 minutes.

    Physical Activity

    Children are provided both structured and unstructured time for physical activity.  The SPARK curriculum framework is utilized for structured physical activities and mainly open gym for unstructured times.

    Computer Time

    Students will have access to computers to work on class based projects or individual interest projects.   

    Activities for Club Excel will be based on student interest and input, and may include such things as art, games, movies or current event/group discussions.   

    Each student is offered a daily snack in the afternoon.  

    Tuition & Fee Information
    • Morning program only - $100/month
    • Afternoon program only - $200/month
    • Morning and afternoon combo - $250/month
    • Registration fee - $50 per student

    Great news for middle school parents! Students are permitted to check themselves in and, with parent permission, are able to check themselves out…no need for you to walk-in.
