I began teaching World History at Clements in 1997, shortly after graduating from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and a Minor in History. I was Academic Decathlon coach at Clements for ten years, and proudly accompanied the team to State each of those years. I recently began working on my master's degree in history through Indiana State University. The focus for my studies is labor and reform movements in United States history.
In my free time I enjoy traveling and have led several student trips over the years, including Japan in June 2019! I also enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with my husband David and our two dogs, Peanut and Tuck.
