Mrs. Monika Saad Saoud, M. Ed

Hello and welcome to my teacher's page! I am excited about teaching 2nd grade at Mission West Elementary this year! I am a graduate of Lamar University with my Graduate degree in Administration and am an alumnus of  U of H for Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6th Grade, as well as an alumnus of North Bennett Street School in Boston for Fine Furniture Making. The completion of this year will mark my 22nd year working in education, with 10 years in Fort Bend and 12 in Katy ISD. I have also served throughout the years as a 1st, 2nd, and 4th-grade teacher, owned and directed a daycare, and served as a woodworking teacher and furniture maker in my younger years as a native Bostonian. Currently, I am working toward gaining the knowledge and experience necessary to be an effective leader that improves student learning and overall success at all grade levels.

I look forward to building a sound foundation of knowledge with your child that will allow them to take hold of their future and create successful outcomes for college and beyond.

Let's make this a prosperous and fabulous year!
