Your student’s school is offering live support sessions between Aug. 12-28 to equip you to support your student’s online learning experience. Visit your student’s school website for specific dates/times.
A self-paced parent online learning support module is in development in multiple languages and will be available in late August. It will be posted here when available.
Both the live, campus-based sessions and the self-paced modules cover the following topics/areas of focus:
Instructional Expectations Training
- Asynchronous learning (assigned work available through Schoology)
- Synchronous learning (live online sessions with the teacher)

Technology Tools Training
- FBISD 1Link (single sign-on to technology applications)
- Schoology (basic and Intermediate Learning Management System training to help you navigate how to access and view lessons, how to post assignments, etc.)
- Microsoft Teams (video conferencing tool for live sessions with teachers)
- Skyward (student information system for tracking attendance, discipline, grades, etc.)
