    Summer Session Dates & Themes

    Extended Learning's Summer Program consists of 8 one-week sessions from Monday, June 3 through Friday, July 26.  The program is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at select schools.

    Extended Learning will be closed from July 29 through August 13 and will resume normal operating hours on the first day of school, Wednesday, August 14, 2019.  


    Summer Campuses

    This year, Extended Learning’s Summer Program will be held at the locations listed below.  Enrollment is open to any campus, regardless of home school. The grade level is based on what grade students finished in 2018-2019.   The locations for the summer program are listed below:

    • Quail Valley(K - 5th)  
    • Schiff (PreK - 5th)
    • Settlers Way (K - 5th)

    • Sugar Mill (K - 5th)   
    • Sullivan (5th - 7th only)


    Summer 2019 Campus Map


    For any campus that offers a Pre-K program, the child must turn 4 years old by September 1 and have a basic level of self-care. 


    Students that have completed 5th grade are able to attend at any campus, including Sullivan, which is for middle school students only.


    The Summer Program is open to students that do not attend a FBISD school.  A copy of the student's current immunization record will need to be submitted to the campus site coordinator before the start of summer.  This includes Pre-K students.  


    Summer Fees & Tuition

    • Registration Fee: $50
    • Tuition: $150/week (includes daily lunch and snack) 


    Registration Information

    • Registration for each week will close at 12:00pm on the Friday before the start of the session.  However if a session gets full before that, the enrollment will be closed before the noon deadline.  Register early in order to ensure availability!
      • Please note for Session 1 (June 3 - 7), registration will close on Wednesday, May 29 at 12pm.  
    • Registration will open online on February 25 and will be available throughout the duration of the summer.  
    • Register online through EZChildTrack,
    • Parents will need to create an account, and follow the steps to select the sessions that your child will attend and answer all requested fields. 
    • There is a $50 registration fee paid once per child for the entire summer, regardless of the number of sessions attending.  The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason and is due at the time of registration. 
    • Each weekly session costs $150 and payment will be required at the time of registration.  
    • Payment is due at the time the session is selected so only register for the sessions you are prepared to pay for immediately.   All tuition and fees must be paid before enrollment is complete. 
    • Payments can be made online using a credit or debit card.  If you wish to make a payment by check, you must register in person at the Extended Learning Main Office.  
    • Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to Extended Learning at Requests must be submitted 10 days prior to the start of the session.
    • Requests to transfer enrollment to a different session or campus location must be submitted in writing to Extended Learning. Requests must be submitted 5 days prior to the start of the session.

    Daily Activity Information


    Summer 2019 Areas of Focus


    In addition to the field trips, swim sessions and in house events scheduled each week, there are also lots of innovative activities planned for the students this summer.  We are very happy to announce that this year, lunch and an afternoon snack will be provided daily.  Take a look at the sneak peek below!!!  

    Superb Science - Fun and engaging science experiments where the children get to dress up and play the part of a Mad Scientist. Campers will engage in everything from creating moon rocks, searching for fossils and extracting DNA from bananas!

    Curious Creations - This rotation will allow campers the opportunity to use their creativity to engage in many different types of art. Some of the art forms students will participate in include making 3D superhero art projects, watercolor painting, Tie Dye projects and so much more. 

    iWorkout - iWorkout is all about teambuilding activities, fun and engaging challenges, and classic games such as freeze dance and freeze tag.  Students will learn the importance of staying active. We have something for everyone to participate in!

    Imaginarium - We love everything theatrics! Our campers will have the opportunity to participate in book clubs, dance parties, talent shows, fashion design projects and theatre shows that are student led and created. 

    Cyber Squad - Students will have the opportunity to learn coding and create PowerPoint presentations, music, movies and how to use Windows programs.
