Mrs. Jennifer Wright

A native of Texas and a product of Fort Bend ISD, this will be my fourteenth full time year with the district. I graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a degree from the Department of Theatre and Dance. My Post Bachelor degree comes from the University of Houston Victoria in Curriculum & Instruction. I have taught everything from English to history to theatre. I've worked for three years as a reading specialist helping students with dyslexia.  This experience instilled in me a deep love for working with young students to strengthen their reading skills.   In addition to public education, I have worked for over 20 years in the Fine Arts field of dance and musical theatre as a teacher, associate director, and choreographer. I am thrilled to be back at Settlers Way Elementary where I have spent a majority of my career, and I look forward to teaching the bright eyed students of second grade!
