A native of Duncan Oklahoma, I graduated from Fort Bend Clements High School and went on to play my collegiate basketball career at Houston Baptist University and St. Edwards University. At Houston Baptist University, I led the team in three point percentage and assists. I then transferred to St. Edwards University where I received All Conference basketball honors. I graduated from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas with a Kinesiology Degree and am currently teaching Physical Education at Hightower. I have completed my Masters degree from the University of Houston in Sports Administration and my princial administrative certification at Lamar University. I also serve as the Health and Physical Education Department Head and the Girls Athletic Coordinator at Hightower High School.
As the head coach at Hightower High School for the last eleven years I bring an overall record of 297-78 to the girl’s basketball program. I have been selected four times as the Fort Bend ISD District 23-5A/6A Girl’s Basketball Coach of the Year and was also named the 2013-2014 Hightower High School Campus Teacher of the Year. I am currently serving on the board of the Greater Houston Area Girls Basketball Coaches Association and also The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Committee. I have had numerous student-athletes graduate and continue to play at collegiate basketball programs across the country.
