B.S. Human Development and Family Studies
Generalist EC-6 Certification
Hello! My name is Farah Aziz, and I am beyond excited to be your child's 4th grade Math and Science Teacher this year!
A little bit about me- I was born and raised in Houston, but my family is originally from Bangladesh, Asia. I attended school in Alvin ISD and after graduating, I decided to pursue a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies with EC-6 certification from the University of Houston. I obtained summa cum laude honors, GO COOGS! I taught Pre-K at a private school for my first year, and am now ready for my second year of teaching here at Anne Sullivan Elementary! Being a part of the Dalmation Nation is a dream come true!
It brings me great joy to collaborate with students and guide them to success. I am looking forward to fostering positive relationships with my students, and creating an environment full of love, diversity, imagination, and creativity. It is my goal to work closely with other staff members and the community to ensure the growth of your child in his/her education. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, suggestions, updates, or concerns. We are going to make a great team this year!
My interests include: gardening, reading (I love poetry and mystery novels!), traveling, hiking, cycling, watching my favorite shows, and spending time with friends and loved ones. I have been happily married to my wonderful husband for 3 years and am a mom to many house plants!
