Fort Bend ISD (January 23, 2017) – FBISD’s Talent Management and Development Department hosted an informational conference at the FBISD Administration Annex for District executive and administrative assistants, and office managers. The conference included a keynote speaker and breakout sessions offering tips and tools for success.
“I am so appreciative of the time and effort that everyone put into this event, and I am especially thankful to the District for recognizing us as a valuable group of individuals,” said Clair Thomas, executive assistant at Palmer Elementary. “It is such a nice feeling to be valued and appreciated.”
Director of Talent Management/Development, Dr. Yolanda Young, welcomed the employees to the conference and introduced guest speaker Allison Blankenship, author and president of Precision Speaking. Blankenship’s topic – Real Women Have Chipped Nails – gave tools and strategies on how to build resilience and increase productivity in your professional and personal life.
