a 226-day administrator with a hypothetical $70,000

if the employee begins on 7/9/07, the official first day of a 226-day calendar. The second example
of a late hire shows the approximate salary calculation for a new employee who begins on 10/22/07 of the 226-day calendar.

No matter what work calendar you are on (226-days, 210-days, 202-days, etc.), your salary is equal to your daily rate times the number of days worked and is divided by the number of pay periods left from your first check until the end of your contract calendar. Non-paid work days, if any, personal-leave days, and any other compensations, i.e., stipends, would be pro-rated (amount of stipend(s) divided by the number of days worked).
