School applicants must hold a valid Standard teaching certificate
to register. ACP applicants who have passed their content
area exam in 8-12 Math, Science (Science Composite or Physical
Science), Spanish, or Technology Education
(Industrial Arts) may register. |

Elementary applicants
must hold a valid Standard teaching certificate or be a
current student teacher to register.
Although EC-4 ACP applicants are considered for employment, they
are ineligible to attend this job fair. |
To be considered
for this Job Fair, please read the following requirements carefully:
- Complete our online application
(Be sure and upload or mail copies of your transcripts and
out-of-state certificate (We print TX certificates and exams from
SBEC).

AFTER you submit an
online application and the required documents, please register for the job fair (see link at the
bottom). If you register before you apply online, it's rejected,
since there's no application on file. You can only register one
time.
- Applicants who meet FBISD's qualifications
will receive an e-mail confirmation letter and instructions (pdf
format) within a few days.
(Be sure that your e-mail account will
accept this e-mail address -
Yaffa@fortbend.k12.tx.us. Last year, my e-mails ended up in
some of the applicant's spam and junk e-mail folders. Please check those folders.) Please print and
save your confirmation e-mail letter, as it is your ticket to enter the job fair.
- Bring your Job Fair
Invitation
letter to gain admittance. Do not forget to bring copies of the
Interview Form you received in your confirmation e-mail, along with plenty of copies of your
resume. (Please note that this job fair is not for
librarians, counselors, principals, nurses, current FBISD teachers, etc.)

Job Fair
Registration is now closed. Last day to register for the job fair
was noon on
April 15, 2008.
(SELECTED applicants who registered within the past several days will receive a confirmation letter via
e-mail before the job fair. Please understand
that FBISD receives 12,000 applications per year and has the right to
limit invitees to the job fair. (Do
not e-mail or call to make inquiries as to why you were not invited.
Also, with the large number of EC-4 applicants, not all will be invited
but all will be considered for vacancies as they occur.)
(Please note that this job fair is for fully-certified and non-District
teacher applicants only.
FBISD Teachers wanting to transfer attended the April 1st Voluntary
Teacher Transfer Fair
and are ineligible to attend this job fair on April 19)
