PARKING LOT ATTENDANT - ELKINS HIGH SCHOOL Job# 2403

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Provides general security services for campus parking areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License

• Experience in security work helpful

• Ability to work with high school age students

JOB GOALS:

Patrols the parking lots to prevent theft and vandalism; monitors all vehicles entering and exiting the parking lot; provides protection for vehicles arriving and departing after normal working hours; patrols areas around buildings to ensure integrity of contents; guards against illegal entry, fire, theft and vandalism; enforces safety rules and regulations; observes and reports unusual conditions, operations and safety hazards; assists the police officer with enforcing rules concerning parking violations and reckless driving; performs related duties as required or assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• 176 days

SALARY RANGE:

• Pay Grade 1 - Salary according to experience and qualifications
