The 17th annual Fort Bend Education Foundation Gala entitled “Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez” will be held at the Sugar Land Marriott Hotel on February 27, 2010. The good times will be rolling along like a hurricane all evening at this ever-popular event.
“Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez” is presented by Fort Bend Mechanical and is guaranteed to be a superb evening. This enchanting event will celebrate the success of the Fort Bend Education Foundation and thank the community for its generous support.

A very special auction item this year is a handmade tapestry depicting and celebrating 50 years of Fort Bend Independent School District. The mission of the Fort Bend Education Foundation is to enrich, enhance and maximize the quality of education for all FBISD students. Since its inception in 1992, the Education Foundation has awarded over $2.5 million in grants to FBISD teachers and schools. Foundation programs include the Grants to Teachers and Schools Program, Grants for Experts and Angel Gifts. The gala is the primary source of revenue to fund these programs.
