The Mission of Fort Bend ISD Transportation Services is to provide safe, efficient, and reliable transportation services to the students of Fort Bend ISD, so that they may access the educational and cultural opportunities provided by the district and become productive community members.
Fort Bend ISD is the seventh largest school district in Texas (out of 1037). The district covers an area of one hundred seventy four square miles. On average over 380 school buses travel over 31,000 miles transporting students to and from school each day.
- Bus stop locations for regular education students will be set to district guidelines of:
- Elementary school- bus stop will be up to .20 miles (1056 feet) from your home.
- Middle school & High school- bus stop will be up to .50 miles (2640 feet) from your home.
The District uses our routing software for all distance measurements.

Transportation Rider Forms
In an effort to continually improve our bus routing system, we are providing a new Transportation Rider Registration Form for the 2012-2013 school year.
All schools will be distributing the form to students before May 1, and parents will have the opportunity to sign up for bus/transportation services for the next school year either with this form or online in Family Access. Paper forms are to be turned in to your school campus. The deadline is May 18. In addition, these forms will now be included in all registration packets.
Family Access will be open to accept Transportation Rider forms on the following dates: May 1 – May 18
