INFORMATION FOR PARENTS REGARDING THE FBISD K-12 STUDENT TRANSFER PROCESS FOR THE 2012-13 SCHOOL YEAR

The district will be offering FBISD K-12 transfers and renewals for students for the 2012-13 school year during designated MONTHS in the following categories.

This application is now closed.  Please refer to the Guidelines below for information regarding the district’s notification of approvals, denials, and renewals.

The following documents are now available for downloading/review on the employee intranet, pipeline, or may be obtained in the FBISD Administration Building, 16431 Lexington Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77479) during the district’s regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., M-F.  Documents and applications for employees will not be available on campuses or accessible on this website.

Accepting new applications and granting renewals for K-12 Fort Bend ISD resident children of Fort Bend ISD resident parents/legal guardians who are not employees of the district

The documents listed above will be available on the dates given at www.fortbendisd.com/studenttransfers/, at any campus, or from the front desk receptionist in the FBISD School Administration Building at 16431 Lexington Blvd., Sugar Land, Texas 77479 during the district’s summer business hours, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., M-Th.

1. Prior to submitting an application for a transfer, your child must be enrolled in the zoned FBISD school.

2. If you are enrolling your child in the district from a parochial school, home school or private school situation, your child must be enrolled in the zoned FBISD school prior to submitting your application for a transfer.

3. Early Kindergarten enrollment for the 2012-13 school year is scheduled for April 9-11, 2012.

4. If your child is currently attending a Pre-k program, you still must enroll him/her in the zoned FBISD school prior to submitting your application for a transfer
