  • Fort Bend ISD Policy EG Curriculum Development Policy EG (local) "Curriculum Development" provides the district a framework for the written, taught and tested curriculum in Fort Bend ISD. The policy also addresses the process for developing curriculum, procedures for adding or deleting courses and programs in the district, components of curriculum guides, and the roles and responsibilities of central and campus staff in curriculum.
  • Texas Education Law TAC 74.1 addresses foundation and enrichment curriculum and requirements from the state in using the state’s written curriculum, Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).
  • Curriculum Development Process The Fort Bend ISD curriculum development process identifies the procedures for developing curriculum, timelines for completing written guides and matrices of all courses and subjects offered in Fort Bend ISD. Each subject area has a matrix that identifies when objectives, course outlines, district assessments, modification and enrichment strategies, resources and material identification, and staff development for teachers will be completed for a given grade level or course.
  • The Fort Bend ISD Middle School Student Program Guide and High School Student Program Guide (Hightower) (Marshall) (Willowridge) The Student Program Guides list all of the courses, course descriptions, requirements for graduation, and other general information about curriculum.
