Fort Bend ISD has designated the month of March as Youth Art Month. The goal of Youth Art Month is to provide the community an opportunity to view the talents of a few of our art students. Therefore, we are seeking local businesses that will agree to exhibit student artwork from March 1-31, 2009. This exhibit is typically held in a public area, usually a lobby, and is displayed during your regular business hours.

In addition to exhibiting the student artwork, many of the host companies may provide a small reception for the student artists and their parents. The reception is usually held during the late afternoon or early evening. This allows both the proud students and parents to see their art on public display, and provides you the opportunity to meet each of them personally.

If your company is willing to participate in Youth Art Month, please complete the attached form, and then fax the form back to the Fine Arts office at (281) 634-1125, no later than February 5. This will allow us the necessary time to coordinate the logistics.

Youth Art Month is a very popular Fort Bend ISD event.
