Business Partners

What is a school-business partnership?

School-business partnerships are mutually beneficial relationships between the corporate sector and schools that support student achievement and campus goals. Partnerships are on-going, dynamic and rewarding for everyone involved. They help enrich the lives of students, which is not only good for the community, but also good for businesses.

Members of the school-business partnership are often instrumental in helping young people develop more positive attitudes toward school and academic achievement. Partnerships play a critical role in enhancing the learning environment for students by helping to ensure they receive the best education possible. Positive relationships between businesses and schools are also a great way to help strengthen the connection between education, the workforce and the community.

Quality schools impact businesses by helping to attract new residents and industry to Fort Bend County. Strong relationships between schools and businesses help develop a sense of community pride and enhance employee morale.
