My name is Marlane Harrold. I was born in Houston and moved to the Bellaire area where I was raised from the time I was almost 6 years old and up. My college education has also been in the Houston area. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education at the University of Houston main campus and received a Master of Science degree at the University of Houston at Clear Lake. I am also licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor.
I have been the counselor at Walker Station Elementary since we first opened our doors in the fall of 1992. Before coming to Walker Station I was the counselor at Lakeview Elementary for six years. Prior to my years as a counselor I taught first and second grade with Fortbend ISD, HISD and in a parochial school in Houston. I am married and have one son.
