The philosophy of the Elementary Music Program in FBISD is to provide all participating students with opportunities to experience and develop an appreciation for music through a variety of experiences both group and individual. Elementary music provides a general music curriculum to help make each student a knowledgeable consumer of music as an art form.
Mrs. Patterson is the general music teacher for Grades K – 5 at Townewest Elementary School. She will see each class at least once a week and will produce at least two big shows this school year.
