HEALTH SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY III (Grade 12) 2 Hour/Credit Course CH 3421-3422 Prerequisite - Health Science Technology II, with a minimum grade of 80 and transportation to training station.
An occupationally specific course designed to provide knowledge and skills for certification or licensure in an Allied Health Career. This course provides students with choices from a specific list of Allied Health Care Specialties which leads to certification/licensure. An unpaid/paid clinical training experience at a health care facility will provide the student with clinical experience. Students will receive three high school credits. Up to (12) college hours are awarded upon successful completion of all courses on the Tech-Prep plan for their specialty. HOSA dues $25.00
