Welcome to ESL

The ESL program is an academic program. The objectives are the same as the regular classroom ELA program and follows the same Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills.

The goal of the ESL program is to provide support in areas such as listening, speaking, reading and writing until the student meets the exit criteria.

The ESL program has may benefits: academic objectives-intensive English language instruction in listening, speaking, writing and thinking skills; small group instruction; individualized support and learning; academic language skills for all content subjects; facilitates classroom learning; and builds student's confidence.
