All elementary students are required to participate in physical activity for a minimum of either 30 minutes daily or 135 minutes weekly.
SWE has also formed a Mileage Club where students earn rewards for every 5 miles they walk. This program is implemented during their recess time.
We have begun a two-week rollerblading unit for grades 4 and 5 in conjuction with Skating 101. The students had such a good time that we plan to continue with this program.
