Please help our Student Council with their annual Holiday Food Drive to benefit the East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry. Donations are needed of items to make a complete Thanksgiving Dinner, such as stuffing, broth, cans of sweet potatoes or corn or beans, etc. All donations are needed by Mon., 11/23.

Please call 281-634-4360 or 281-634-4366 before 8:15 a.m. to report that your child will be absent or late to school. When your child returns to school, he/she should bring a written excuse, noting his/her name, the dates of the absence and the reason for the absence, within two days after returning to school. If a note is not received within two days, the absence is considered an unexcused absence.
If your child has been to the doctor or dentist they need to bring a note from the doctor's office. Thank you!

The safety of all students is a top priority at SWE. Please use the following procedures for morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal. All care providers, including family and friends, should be familiar with these procedures.

As you come to pick up your child at dismissal we ask that you stay in your car in the car line and have your child's name in the front windsheild of your car. The line does not take long once the cars start moving. Dismissal is usually complete by 3:15, except during inclement weather. We ask that you not park in the street or parking lot and then walk to pick up your chid.
 
For the Walker and Bike Riders we ask that they try to practice the buddy system for safety. And remember that children are not allowed to ride scooters, skateboards or rollerblades to Settlers Way. Following these guidelines will help our students get to and from school safely.
 
Please do not drop your child earlier than 7:30 AM. There is no supervision of the students before then. There is an alternative, however. Our Extended Day Program, located near the teacher parking lot, allows you to drop your child as early as 6:30 AM each day. Please contact the Extended Day Office at 281-634-4377 after 2:00 PM.
