Welcome to 4th grade at SWE! Readers and writers reign in 4th grade. Read for fun on a daily basis. Add similies, metaphors, and onomatopoeia to your compositions, reports, and journals so your writing comes alive. Become a math wizard at problem solving, estimating, algebra, geometry, and computation. Experiment with wire and decorate a 2-story house and choose to adopt an animal in science. Get to know your state, its government, customs, history, and cultural celebrations. At the end of every day 4th graders express surprise that 3:00 has arrived. They have been so engaged in learning that time flies.
