Welcome to Physical Education (8th Grade)

(1 semester or 1 year)
This middle school physical education course offers a variety of activities to enhance the physical and social development of each student. The activities include physical fitness; aerobics; team sports; and individual, dual, and lifetime activities; and a two week program emphasizing self-esteem, respect for others, and making wise decisions in the area of growth and development of adolescents.
* In order to participate in organized athletics such as football, volleyball, basketball. track, or tennis, the UIL requires students to have a physical examination each year.
