Sugar Mill was identified as one of the High Performing schools in the state, based on our high levels of reading achievement. Just for Kids is an organization that groups similar schools, based on demographics, and then ranks the school within their group. This is an excellent way for Exemplary rated schools like ours to set the standard even higher. While we currently rank in the middle of our group in other subjects, our goal is to reach Highest Performing recognition in mathematics, writing, and science, too.

When a student is absent they must bring a note when they return to school. You need to include the date or dates of the absence, the child’s name, reason for the absence and the teacher’s name.
