I am proud to be the principal of Sugar Mill Elementary. I have enjoyed every year of my 35 years in elementary education. I have taught in California, Arkansas, and Texas, and besides my years as a Texas classroom teacher in Angleton, Sweeny, and at Lakeview, I served as a GT Coordinator/Specialist in Sweeny, a math specialist at Brazos Bend, and was one of the original technology specialists in FBISD at Pecan Grove, Walker Station, and Brazos Bend. I have taught grades K-8 and absolutely LOVE teaching! My son, Robbie, is a senior at Travis High School. Both of my daughters graduated from Austin High School and A&M. The oldest, Jennifer, is an architect in South Carolina, married to a sculptor. My other daughter, Christine, is a geography teacher and cheerleader sponsor at Clements High School. I am beginning my ninth year as an administrator and still love every day on the job.
