Ridgemont Elementary students have four computers in their classroom. All the computers in each classroom have internet access where the students may access online curriculum, several research databases and complete assignments.

One classroom computer is connected to a television placed on the wall for whole class computer presentations.

The computer lab has 25 multimedia computers for use by students. Kindergarten through sixth grade students are scheduled in the lab once a week.

Our Instructional Technology Specialist, LaCondria Williams, is assigned to two elementary campuses on a rotating basis. (See the calendar for the days she is scheduled at Ridgemont.)

Mrs. Williams collaborates in the computer lab with teachers as well as works with the teachers to plan computer activities which integrate technology with their classrooms.
