Science rules! Welcome to the exciting world of Science Exploration! The QVMS sixth grade G/T science curriculum is filled with a host of interesting and innovative ways to learn more about our fascinating world. Our sixth grade curriculum provides a broad-based foundation fit to meet the needs of an eager and developmentally prepared, creative, science student. In addition to learning about the four primary branches of science: Physical Science, Earth Science, Environmental Science, and Life Science, students will be immersed in educational technology, hands-on science labs, and a host of off-campus field experiences. Teaching methodology structured for the G/T student includes content/concept integration, curriculum acceleration, and teaching to meet the specific learning style/need of the student. Together, these facets of educational development are driven to cultivate your student’s love and life long interest in the field of Science.
