Welcome to Science 7

The 7th Grade GT Academy Science curriculum is a rigorous, unique, concept-based curriculum which guides students focus on the core disciplines of science such as physics, chemistry, biology and earth/space science with the infusion of technology and interdisciplinary connections. Through extensive laboratory investigations, cross-curriculum activities, field experience, and instruction based on conceptual generalizations, students are stimulated and challenged to think critically, creatively and effectively. Students will develop inquiry, problem-solving and decision-making skills through student-directed research projects and the investigation of local or national issues and concerns.
